Paldo's ‘Wang Ttukyeong’ is famous for its great value for money. Unlike other cup ramen, it features a plastic lid. This plastic lid is convenient for covering the cup when waiting for the noodles to cook, and it can also be used as a small plate when eating. The flavor is less greasy than other ramen, and the noodles are chewy, overcoming the common drawback of cup ramen noodles breaking easily. Like all ramen, it goes well with kimchi, which is why Paldo also released a 'Kimchi Wang Ttukyeong' variant. It has a larger capacity than other cup ramen, but its price remains under 1,000 won, making it a popular choice at the supermarket.
2. Kokkokkok Ramyeon Bokki (콕콕콕 라면볶이)
Ottogi Mall
Kokkokkok Ramyeon Bokki is a stir-fried cup ramen. Typically, stir-fried ramen involves boiling the noodles, discarding the water, and mixing in the seasoning. The cooking method for Kokkokkok Ramyeon Bokki is similar. The name 'Kokkokkok' (콕콕콕) comes from the sound made when poking holes in the lid to drain the water. Unlike other stir-fried cup ramen, it has a special design that allows you to create drainage holes without risking losing the noodles in the process.
The Kokkokkok stir-fried ramen series currently has four flavors: Spaghetti, Cheese Bokki, and Mayo Jjajang Bokki. If you're looking for a non-spicy stir-fried ramen, you might enjoy the Spaghetti, Cheese, or Mayo Jjajang flavor. The product has recently been revamped with a microwaveable container, making it even more convenient to cook.

Nongshim's ‘Tteukim Udon’ truly recreates the taste of udon. Mimicking the characteristics of udon noodles, it features thicker noodles than other ramen. However, since it's still instant ramen, the noodles are not as thick as actual udon. While authentic udon is typically not spicy, this version has a slightly spicy kick to cater to Korean taste buds. But since it's still primarily an udon flavor, the spiciness isn't overwhelming; you can think of it as a mild level of spiciness, similar to a mild ramen.

4. Saewoo Tang (새우탕)
Nongshim Mall
If you're looking for a less spicy cup ramen compared to Tteukim Udon, Saewoo Tang might be a good choice. It's not spicy at all, which makes it popular among children who are trying ramen for the first time. The taste is not intensely shrimp-flavored but rather offers a hint of shrimp aroma, reminiscent of the popular shrimp cracker snack, Saewoo Kang. Even considering its small cup size, it's relatively low in calories, making it a good option for those who want a light and easy ramen meal.
