Detective Conan is holding an exhibition to celebrate its 30th anniversary in 2024. This exhibition is held across Japan for a year to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Detective Conan manga serialization. Starting in Tokyo, it is held in a total of eight regions, including Nagoya. Each region is said to be held for about two months.

The Detective Conan 30th Anniversary Exhibition is composed of a total of six chapters based on the content that has been serialized so far.

In Chapter 1, ‘CONAN’s Words’, you can see the famous lines of major characters, and in Chapter 2, ‘CONAN’s Love’, you can see scenes related to love stories, including Shinichi & Ran and Hattori & Kazuha, the official couples. In Chapter 3, ‘CONAN’s Mystery’, we cover the story of the Black Organization, the villain of Conan. All the information is included, from the profiles of the organization members, to the former organization members, to the infiltrating spies, to the current boss and second-in-command of the Black Organization. If you don't like spoilers, you should review the main story so far.

The part that I was most interested in at this exhibition was Chapter 4, ‘CONAN’s HANNIN’. ‘Hannin’ means ‘criminal’, and it is said that you can see a ‘collection of criminals’, which collects all the criminals who have appeared in the world of Detective Conan for 30 years.

Chapter 5, ‘CONAN’s Justice’, introduces the FBI who fight against the Black Organization, and the police characters who fight against criminals. You can meet all the stories, from the five most frequently appearing characters of the Metropolitan Police Department, to the police characters you can meet in each region, to the police academy groups. In Chapter 6, ‘CONAN’s Magic’, you can find stories about Kaito Kid. You can enjoy the story of Kaito Kid, who is as popular as the main character Conan, all at once.

The most anticipated part of this 30th anniversary exhibition is the goods. The lineup is glamorous as it is commemorative goods for the 30th anniversary. Various goods are prepared, such as acrylic stands, badges, acrylic keychains, mugs, T-shirts, masking tape, and karuta.

In particular, the headband that reproduces the hairstyles of Conan and Ran has also been the biggest topic. Usually, only the main characters were released as goods, but since it is a 30th anniversary commemorative good, it seems that almost all the characters appearing in Detective Conan have been made into goods.

Tickets are 2,000 yen for general admission day tickets and 1,800 yen for advance tickets, 1,500 yen for student day tickets and 1,200 yen for advance tickets. For special admission tickets, general day tickets are 5,000 yen and advance tickets are 4,800 yen, while student day tickets are 4,500 yen and advance tickets are 4,200 yen.
