Detective Conan is holding an exhibition to celebrate its 30th anniversary in 2024. This exhibition is being held across Japan for a year to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Detective Conan manga serialization. It is said that it will be held in a total of 8 regions, starting from Tokyo to Nagoya, for about two months in each region.

The Detective Conan 30th Anniversary Exhibition is composed of a total of 6 chapters based on the content serialized so far.
In Chapter 1 ‘CONAN’s Words’, you can see a collection of memorable lines from the main characters, and in Chapter 2 ‘CONAN’s Love’, you can see scenes related to love stories, including Shinichi & Ran and Hattori & Kazuha, the official couples. Chapter 3 ‘CONAN’s Mystery’ deals with the story of the Black Organization, Conan’s villain. It includes profiles of the organization members, former members, undercover spies, and even the current Black Organization boss and second-in-command. If you don't like spoilers, it might be a good idea to review the main story so far.

The part that caught my attention the most in this exhibition was Chapter 4 ‘CONAN’s HANNIN’. ‘Hannin’ means ‘perpetrator’, and it is said that you can see a ‘gathering of perpetrators’ where numerous perpetrators from the countless cases that have occurred in the Detective Conan world over 30 years are gathered.
Chapter 5 ‘CONAN’s Justice’ introduces FBI agents who fight against the Black Organization and police characters who confront criminals. You can see everything from the frequently appearing Metropolitan Police Department quintet to police characters and police academy classmates you can meet in various regions. Chapter 6 ‘CONAN’s Magic’ is where you can find stories about Kaito Kid. You can enjoy the story of Kaito Kid, who is as popular as the main character Conan, all at once.

The most anticipated part of this 30th-anniversary exhibition is the merchandise. The lineup is luxurious, as it is merchandise released to commemorate the 30th anniversary. Various goods such as acrylic stands, badges, acrylic keychains, mugs, T-shirts, masking tapes, and karuta are prepared.

In particular, the headband that reproduces Conan and Ran's hairstyles has attracted the most attention. Usually, only the main characters were made into merchandise, but perhaps because it's a 30th-anniversary commemorative merchandise, it seems like almost all the characters that appear in Detective Conan have been made into goods.
